Abu Dhabi, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates, is known for its luxurious lifestyle, stunning architecture, and pristine beaches. If you’re a beach lover, then Abu Dhabi is definitely the place to be. From the crystal-clear waters to the soft white sand, the beaches here are a true paradise. In this blog, we will explore the best beaches in Abu Dhabi that you should definitely visit.
D D: Great sandy beach, convenient division into different zones. There is a free zone, which is suitable for games on the beach and paid, for recreation with sun loungers and umbrellas. The beach has a toilet, indoor and outdoor showers with warm water, changing cabins, which are also suitable for people with disabilities, free drinking water and a playground with a slide.

Arpita Karmakar: A very very clean and well maintained beach. Best place to cycle walk or just come for a football game. There are a number of eateries and coffee shops around. Sandy beach with the view of the city towers around. The water is pristine. The beach has toilets, changing room and a lot more.
3:
Subhendu Mazumder: Nice and clean beach. The beach is segregated in different sections, some is reserved for family and has entry fee while the others are open to general public.
Al Bateen Beach
Address :
Khalifa Al Mubarak St – Al Qurm – Qasr Al Shatie – Abu Dhabi
Rubeena Moideenkutty: A best family spot for a weekend get away. We enjoy the whole evening at the beach. Good facilities for wash rooms and prayer space. The reflexology pathway is a really good concept that give an overall idea of your health related points. There is a small park. Family oriented space.

Ralphestein: The weather was good today. So me and my family went on a stroll and ended up here. We were going to corniche beach too often and we wanted to find a new place to hang out. Definitely a recommended place for families! there are cabanas and some have seats, lifeguards on duty, parking, grass for picnics and playground for kids.

Ravi Shinde: Al Bateen beach near Hudayriyat island bridge is a long stretch of sand beach with sand, hard tiled walkway and lush green garden with colourful flowers. The beauty of the beach is enhanced by the suspension bridge in the backdrop connecting Hudayriyat island with Abu Dhabi island. The beach is open to public 24X7. People can swim in shallow waters and the beach is monitored by life guards stationed at every 50 mts. There is kids play section in the garden area. There is a facility to play beach football and volleyball. What attracted my attention was the Reflexology pathway which is a semi circular section of walkway with pebbles half embedded in ground and half projecting out. Walking over these pebbles with barefeet stimulates your nerve endings and rejuvenate various body organs. I enjoyed the reflexology walk over the pebbles. There is ample parking area in front of the beach. You get to see a very beautiful view of the suspension bridge from the beach.
Joshua Taylor: Kai Beach is Beautiful. It was so clean and peaceful and a great way to spend the day, but personally, I wouldn’t go back. It’s a little pricey considering there are a lot of free beaches that are also clean with beautiful views. It costed AED105 per person. Also the site says you can’t bring in your own food or drinks, but when trying to order food from their 1 food stall on site 60% of the stuff is unavailable and there’s a queue of people waiting. Lastly they don’t provide towels so remember to take your own.

Aisha Alyaarobi: Went to the beach on ladies day, paid 85 for adult ticket and got two bottles of water with the ticket, beach is clean and worth visiting. Food is not allowed inside unless your ordering from their menu. Toilets and shower area are so disappointing, very small and not convenient at all.
3:
Juan Ignacio Díaz: The beach and the natural surroundings are the biggest asset of this place. The natural beach strip of this area is the best of all country. It is the cheapest option of you want to spend the day in the area but be aware that with the entrance fee you only get a sun lounger and an umbrella. NO TOWELS ARE PROVIDED and neither you can rent them there. That’s the biggest problem and nowhere in their ads or website warns you about this. Food menu is limited but reasonably priced and they should definitely make wooden paths in the area where the sun loungers are like any proper beach club otherwise you burn the hell out of your feet and the way to the sea is not so close. Like in most places in Dubai and Abu Dhabi they overcharge and they lack details (like towels or wooden paths) for a more comfortable experience.
Mohammad Assagaf: Can’t believe I haven’t been to this place before. It’s amazing! There are playgrounds, splash park, restaurants and cafes, even an outdoor gym. The beach is very clean with white sand. It’s also possible to have an evening picnic by the beach as the place stays open at night.. Will definitely be one of our top places in town for our family.
2:
Marijus Sugajevas: Great beach with loads of things to do for both grownups and kids. There are few volleyball courts, food courts, you can rent a peddle boat and so on… Next to it there is a lovely open beach and an interesting path for walks with photoshoot opportunities. Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No
3:
Aleksandra Nesic: Marsana beach is on a Hudayriat Island, which can be accessed by crossing the bridge. It’s a very nice, especially during and after the sunset. There are some kids play area, kids train, cycling area, skate park etc, pools, etc. The restaurants are okay, different, serve variety of cuisines. Beach is nice, equipped, but for swimming is not so good, it is possible to swim only a few meters and that’s it. Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No
Mark L: Really chilled and pleasant beach to use. It’s sheltered from the wind and waves so both enjoyable to sunbathe and swim. With the absence of waves for entertaining swimming they have a pontoon to swim to where diving and jumping makes for simple fun, especially with the kids. Food and drink is priced reasonably in line with local norms and quality is much like others in the area. Doesn’t stand out either way so no bad thing. Menu pics included are taken in Feb 2023. Staff are really helpful and attentive. Service is better than some other places we’ve been.
2:
Manolis Lekkas: A nice beach, well organized, with fine, clean sand inside and outside the water (although inside the water it’s a mix of sand with sediments,) and food options including alcoholic drinks. Water is relatively clean (compared to Dubai at least), cool (in winter) and always calm as it is a bay. Entrance fee is a bit expensive on the weekends (150 AED per adult including umbrella, sun-beds and the option to use the swimming pool) so you may be better off take the 229 AED package which includes buffet (food is excellent)).
3:
Mirela David: I really like!! This beach so good for kids, and family. Very calm… good song, the staffs amazing 💖 good área to come in AD for join one day. …
Aya Korine: Great place to hang out with the kids! There is a small Market in the middle of the beach for more affordable ice cream and drinks. Lots of restaurants to choose from. Many kids with scooters. Sunset was beautiful and the boardwalk is nicely light and decorated. You can rent a 4 people paddle boat (75 AED for ~20min) which is a nice attraction.
2:
Dr.Damodharan Varadarajan: One of the best beaches for families it is very calm and quite and lots of activities paid activities around the place near the beach including restaurants parks boat ride and kids play area. It has a nice umbrella and four chairs arranged at different zones for families, nice showers and changing rooms and toilet maintained very well. Kids under 10 have a small play area near the washroom and the beach is very clean and we’ll maintained and it has amble parking places.
3:
Kathrine Quiambao (Kathie): If you are planning to go for weekend beach vibe you should go here. Everything is here restaurant, coffee shop, water activities and ofcourse nice beach. It’s free no entrance and with free umbrella. Perfect for get away plans. Good vibe and very clean beach. You can bring your own snacks if you want no one force you to buy on the shop its all up to you.
Soul Beach
Address :
Soul Beach, Mamsha Al Saadiyat – Al Saadiyat Island – Abu Dhabi
Huda Hammou: I cannot recommend this beach enough! The sea is an absolutely stunning shade of blue, and the water is so clear and clean that you can see all the way to the bottom. It’s really something to behold, and it’s not often that you find a beach with such beautiful water. But it’s not just the water that makes this beach special. The sand is incredibly soft and fine, and it feels amazing to walk on. It’s the kind of sand that you just want to sink your toes into and never leave.
2:
Adam Ferris: The beach is undoubtedly stunning. The sand is white and soft the water is incredibly blue and clear. The beach is so clean, sun beds are cleaned for you when you arrive. Monday to Thursday the beach is 50aed per person. Friday to Sunday the beach is 75 aed under 6s are free. The price included the use of sunbeds, parasol, toilets and showers. As beautiful as the beach is, when you consider there is no pool or feeling of exclusivity, i am not sure if it is worth 75 aed a person. A recent rule change means that you are no longer permitted to bring your own food and drink which was another mark against the beach for a visit. If you are planning a full day at the beach the it may be worth it for you, however as a family we would prefer somewhere that has more to keep our little one occupied.
3:
Farih Alia: You can really feel that you’re in the real beach and can catch your soul😌 one of the beautiful beach in Abu Dhabi the white beautiful sand and the water so clean, so blue., The high waves, that made me felt tired😪 But I enjoyed it. I paid for 50aed and it’s fine, but I suggest you should provide also towel it will be better. I can highly recommended!
Manori Rimona Dharmadasa (riMona): I am in love with the beach. The atmosphere is clean. Wheelchair, baby cart accessible pathways are there too. You can enjoy a quality beach time/ picnic here. Early mornings and evenings are the ideal time to be here. Half and hour Walking distance from the City.
2:
Waheed Ullah: If you love a nature and want to see beautiful sunset view its a perfect place for it, while siting on sand and look at the lulu island that in the front of this beach it give positive vibes and suspense about the island, specially this place is more Amazing at the evening time. There can’t possibly be anything more beautiful than Seaside Beach at sunset.
3:
ABI SHAFFINSHA P Y: Good calm beach⛱️. There is dedicated entry for women, children and also for people of determination. Also life guards are also available in the beach all the time.Fun beach activities are also available. Clean and tidy. Also a corniche area is near to the beach. #beach #familybeach #safe.
Aleksandra Nesic: This is the best beach in the UAE, soft, white sand as you would find in the Maldives, natural, clear water, not crowded. Beach is long and wide. Also, waves are amazing. Sunsets are beautiful, sun and sea becomes the one, perfect.
2:
Shailesh Bankar: Entry is paid to this beach but worth it. It was the cleanest beach I’ve ever visited with super clean blue water! Clean bathrooms are available if want to get one after swimming. Also, nearby area is superb! Don’t miss it if you are in Abu Dhabi!
3:
vic NY (Vic NY): This is probably the best beach in the UAE, natural soft sand as you would find in the Maldives, clear water, not crowded. I love my morning walks on the beach, you can really have a great workout as it is so long.
