hind hallab: Grand Beirut is a Lebanese cuisine restaurant bringing to you the flavours of Beirut, Lebanon. It is located on level 2 in Galleria mall extension. The ambience is refreshing with the use of bright and vibrant colours. There is a big cherry blossom tree in the centre of the sitting area which gives a refreshing feel. There are two sitting areas, indoor and outdoor. You also get shisha here. The complimentary appetizer of bread rolls with zatar in olive oil with sesame seeds is tasty. The baby chicken grill is very tasty and good for two. The mashed potatoes with herbs and fresh zatar leaves is delicious. Roasted eggplant with herbs and pomegranate is very tasty. Potato wedges with tahini dipping are crispy. Virgin Pina colada is very refreshing. The food is served with baskets of unlimited hot breads baked in their kitchen. The kitchen is open and you can see the food being cooked. The menu is quite exhaustive and there is ample to choose for vegetarians also. The food portions are quite filling. The staff is very prompt and polite in their service. Special mention should be made of Ihab who ensured that everything was in place and made us comfortable. Thanks Ihab. For a perfect Lebanese taste, you should visit Grand Beirut.

Al Dar Sweets
Address :
Intersection Falah Street and Shk. Rashid Bin Saeed St. – Abu Dhabi
Shraddha Patravali: We get best quality baklava here. Very good packaging.
2:
Anna Oura: The maamoul (if that’s the correct spelling) was absolutely amazing. Favorite arabic sweets shop so far. I really appreciate how the baklavas aren’t overly sweet and drenched with syrup, and the flavors of the nuts really come through.
3:
Ammar Al Hamdani: To start with…DELICIOUS Traditional Middle eastern/Turkish Sweets! Great variety for all tastes, prompt service, friendly and helpful staff and generous when it comes to tasting. The tourist club shop is under renovation when I last passed by during first week of January 2019 and hopefully reopened now. However, the madinat Zayed Branch has been upgraded/revamped to serve various FRESH home made pastries, pizzas, Mana’eesh or Manakeesh and alot more including various coffees with a great dine in option. Highly recommended.
abdallah alamrat: They have variety of Arabic sweets like Kunafah, it is good in general but it is not that much for gourmets in this kind of dessert field. The distinguishing thing is that they strive to have their sweets prepared at the time of ordering.
2:
Amer Amer: Its one of my favourites shops for sweets specially konafa and umali
3:
Ahmad Mohd: Excellent Kunafa, especially when served fresh
Wafi Gourmet
Address :
Nation Towers Mall, Nation Towers – Al Bateen – Abu Dhabi
elena bee: If you are looking not for food, but for super food, this place is for you! Wafi Gourmet is a huge space with open kitchen, main restaurant hall, two big terraces with the view and traditional sweets/herbs/spices/pickles shop. All these have one theme – Lebanese food. Be aware, when placing the order, the portions are huge and every dish comes with adds on. One more thing: WG has a catering and home chefs services, so you can have all this generous food at your own home!
2:
Marina Azizian – BIRBAUM: It is located in a posh Nation Tower with a tremendously beautiful view on a city. Restaurant is offering excellent choice of Lebanese food. I’ve read some different comments, however my experience was good. We have had a small bite of cold mezzes, rolled up sandwich and marocain tea. All was very good. Service was rapid.
3:
Valentina Sanna: I do not recommend, the food is average, portions very very small and high price. I got literally 4 lamb chops for 90AED!!!
Qwaider AlNabulsi Sweets
Address :
شارع ١٦ – Mohamed Bin Zayed City – ME-10 – Abu Dhabi
Waza28: Qwaider Al Nabulsi Sweets. Takeaway order for some Cream and Cheese Kunafa. I really liked the square pastry which was filled with custard and had a coconut flavor. It’s definitely something I haven’t tried before and it was really delicious. Not too sweet just perfect. Warm the Kunafa in the microwave to experience the cheesy taste. Friendly staff Parking is an issue especially on the weekends. You might find a parking and have to walk a bit, but it’s worth it.
2:
Armi Z: Variety is good but the tatse is not uptp the mark. They have experimented on Kunafa and made different styles as per need. Main traditional flavour and aroma of Kunafa is lost somewhere in between the process. But still you will not be disappointed as this is must one time visiting spot.
3:
taha: Best kunafe in Al Ain and Abu Dhabi, I always get a bit of the rough bright orange one and the soft brown one and the cream kunafe. They have other pastries as well such as cream filled kadayif.
Ibsais Sweets
Address :
CHQV+GXF – Al Mireef St – Khalifa City – SE42 – Abu Dhabi
Waza28: Ibsais Sweets is a popular place for Palestinian sweets. The branch is located in Khalifa City. I visited this place during #ramadan2022 close to Iftar time and the place was very busy. The menu is in Arabic but at least they had pictures so I just pointed and he understood. I brought one called Istanbul which had a different kind of cheese that was nice. The other one was cream. Both of the Kunafa were delicious. Its a family run business that started in 1878. The story telling on the wall was very interesting and informative about how the business has been passed down generation to generation. Staff are friendly and polite. Parking space is available.
2:
Reejamary John: My favorite was the Mabruma really very crisp, Basically crisp vermicelli rolls.. not too sweet but yummy with chesse also
3:
Akira xy: Was referred to me by my husband. They always bought from this place whenever there’s occasion so might as well try this. Perfect for gifts, and brought this to my workplace for iftar. A bit busy around 6pm because it’s Ramadan. And it looks like it’s popular because they are good. I bought large size mabromeh for 73 aed and it’s worth it. Everything loves and enjoy it.
Mo Aburumman: Wow, the taste is amazing, high quality cheese of Kunafa and even perfect Kunafa without sugar serum (Katr). Clean comfortable and good customer service, friendly staff. Must try.
2:
Hassan Ein: We always live to get our lovely sweets from there when we are in the city
3:
Mouza Al Suwaidi: The best kunafa is offered here, its my favorite since I was young, and luckily they are maintaining the same same taste and quality.

2:
Luch: A benchmark kunafa First kunafa I tried in my life. So I have nothing to compare it too. This will be my benchmark kunafa in Abu Dhabi. The kunafa was not too sweet, it was just right with super stringy haloumi cheese. Additional syrup is readily available if you prefer it sweeter. This small sweet shop is almost always full. They must be doing something right.
3:
Dwingga (Monochromerobot): The shop specializes in middle eastern dessert called Kunafa, that is a dessert made of cheese (mozzarella?), milk and sugar/caramel with pistachio sprinkles served on a styrofoam platter. The original flavour is not overly sweet and delicious to be eaten on the spot. Love it!
